📊 Progress Summary

Starting Best: [Previous best before buffs] → Ending Best: 88%

Key Milestone: Reached 88% from 0 — the deepest run yet. The level received a full buffdate across both months, yet consistency remained strong. Two technical completions occurred, but neither counted due to LDM and missing raw footage respectively.

Overall Feeling: A month of extremes — smooth buff implementation in July, a forced break due to complications, then a devastating return in August with two failed verifications. Motivation shattered, but consistency and community support pulled things back.

⚔️ Buffs Implemented (July + August)
  • 4% Added a small spike requiring a buffer on the green orb — must hold through the transition. Fixed hitbox making the timing tighter.
    4% Buff
  • 24% Ship section entirely buffed — black orbs added throughout, forcing tighter routing. No more free straight-fly. BUFF
    24% Buff
  • 31% Two mini spikes inserted in the wave gap, reducing available space significantly. Frame-perfect window tightened.
    31% Buff
  • 52% Spike length increased — tighter timing on the jump section. Fixed hitbox applied.
    52% Buff
  • 73% Two mini spikes added, turning the jump into a 90 FPS frame perfect. One frame window — pure muscle memory required. FRAME PERFECT
    73% Buff
  • 92% Final two clicks buffed to fix a buffer bug — must now hit raw. No more buffered inputs at the finish line.
    92% Buff
  • 0-1% First jump buffed with an additional orb (August) — new opening timing. Even the pre-drop isn't safe anymore. BUFF
✓ No nerfs were implemented. Consistency with the old state carried over to the buffed version. NO NERFS

🎯 Consistency & Problem Sections
Strong Sections
First Wave
Extremely consistent — rarely dies before 20%. Pre-drop is free.
Strong Sections
Mid-Level
Ship and wave gaps are solid — 52-100 ×7 proves it. Drop is owned.
Problem Section
The Final Part
Nerves are impossible to control. Dying at 88%, 92% buffed clicks — the mental block is real. Two technical completions lost to LDM LDM and no raw footage only deepened the trauma. The level isn't beating me. My own head is.
🧠 Mental & Physical State

Motivation Level: 3/10 — Shattered after two failed verifications. The LDM completion and the no-recording completion back-to-back broke something. Considered quitting entirely.

Physical Condition: Good — No physical fatigue or pain reported. The break in August due to complications allowed some recovery, but the return was mentally brutal.

Biggest Challenge: Nerve control at the final stretch. The consistency is there — the level is beatable. But after two heartbreaks, the mental barrier at 80%+ is now the hardest part of the level. Input lag isn't the issue. Muscle memory isn't the issue. It's all upstairs.

"I beat Injury technically twice. One didn't count due to LDM. The second one, the recording wasn't on — no proof. This shattered my motivation and will to continue playing this level. But I realized my consistency and the people backing me up."

🎮 Good luck to Kywy — pushing through the grind together.
🎯 Goals for Next Month (September 2026)
  1. 1Verify Injury with a valid, recorded completion — no LDM, recording on, full raw footage proof. Legitimacy is everything.
  2. 2Break the mental block at 80%+ — practice the final clicks until they're muscle memory, not nerve-based. Need to get far and feel nothing.
  3. 3Rebuild motivation through community support and small wins — celebrate the consistency, not just the completion. Backwards beating the final section until it's free.
